both kristen and I have have been victimized by unregulated credit card companies...thank you both mr. clinton and mr. bush.
we were both late on a payment. I dont mean by a month, just a couple of days. in her case, they lowered her credit limit so she paid them about a thousand bucks and they lowered it aGain...down to her current balance.
with me, CHASE (subsequently known as the asshole bastards from frigid hell) raised my interest rate from 16 to, get this, 29 percent. such incredible nerve. on a $4000 balance, the finance charge was outfuckingrageous...as soon as I got the bill, I transferred the balance to another credit card at 5.9% and canceled the chase card.
when I called, I talked to someone with an indian accent, whattayaknow, and she must have been very used to it cause she asked me why I was canceling...I said, somewhat calmly, "because of the amazingly unfair interest rate you guys just jacked me up to" and she immediately said, "I can help you with that. I've just canceled the account. is there anything else I can do for you this evening?"
"no, thank you." click.
some day, these corporate pope butt monkeys are going to realize how much money theyre losing in the long run by being asshole bastards from frigid hell when they either run off or bankrupt all their customers.
of course, the true geezer butts will have made their elicit millions by then so they dont give a shit, but the future corporate monkey popes may not see the damn Tsunami coming till it's too late.
they are fucking themselves as surely as theyre fucking us...individually and collectively. get out the popcorn, wake up the kids, cause it is definitely coming.
